Almost there...
We'll keep the questions as short and sweet as we can, but each one is important to get you the right information.
Next question...
Is your drone considered 'privately built' or was it 'manufacturer assembled and placed on the market before the 1st of January 2026'?
If you have designed and built your own drone at home, and/or, assembled it from a manufacturer's kit, then the drone must be considered 'privately built'. Essentially privately built drones are any that aren't preassembled under controlled conditions in a factory.
Privately built
Manufacturer assembled
NOTE: To be considered as 'placed on the market', the drone needs to have been one you could buy in a shop or online in the UK before the 1st of January 2026.
NOTE: A manufacturer assembled drone is one where you have essentially taken the drone from it's packaging and simply charged the batteries and set it up.
