Not sure what the A2 Certificate of Competence is?

In a simple a nutshell, the A2 Certificate of Competence (or A2 CofC as it is commonly known) is an additional test you can take to prove a higher level of understanding of safe and lawful drone operation that allows you a little more freedom on the smaller drones that are above 250g, but under 2kg, or drones that are class marked as UK2 (or C2 until the 31st of December 2027).

The A2 CofC must be taken with a UK Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE) and is an extension of your UK CAA Flyer ID which you must have first.
